Whoa...got confused. I was thinking about the SpectraPure doser from another thread. Sorry!

Bummer we have to learn such expensive lessons though.

You are right about expensive mistakes...But, atleast others can benefit from my mistakes :)

I am going to get a stand alone 3 or 4 head doser for the "balling method" on my frag tanks.

Big kudos from a fellow Vetter. I read every post in your thread stopping only long enough to wipe the saliva off my chin . Would you mind posting a picture of your cooling tower? I didn't see it in any of your pictures but I also don't know what one looks like so I may have just over looked it.

Thanks

P.S. If you belong to CF I am stormrider in the C5 section

haha ..J you got confused with me..I wish I was getting the 4 channel pump.

It is geat that you post the good and the bad. Cant wait for the updates..

Well, today is going to be a LONG day! All the new equipment showed up last night and I also need to pack up all my old stuff and ship it out to its new homes.

Storm - I never did get a cooling tower...My HVAC and my fans have been performing very well and I don't have a need to add any additional cooling (My heater actually comes on at night to warm up the tank)

Eric - I like to keep it real on here :) Failure is not nessasarily a bad thing either...It teaches us just as much as all the successes!

I will post pictures of this mammoth reactor going into its new home.

Got some PICTURES!!

Here is the Geo Kalk Reactor...Just filled w/Calcium Hydroxide and RO/DI water.

Those reactors are sweet. Whatever that gray electrical box is to the right of the sump, it sure makes my nervous.

OK...what the heck is it, wood?

Oh Lord, you must be joking...well, I suppose it could have been worse, but man, with all that media, pretty darn good eyes!! Think it will fill the reactor?

Speaking of which, I should warn you about that. Probably not a good idea to fill it up. I would start with about 1/3 and see how it goes. Because you still have low demand, if you load up the reactor, you will load your tank up with coraline, and that won't be fun.

The grey box is the UV power supply. I am going to mount it to the bottom of the tank soon...It kinda makes me nervous too.

Yeah, I found the butt from all the rinsing I did of the media...I did 4 baths in all and about 10 hours worth...I think i got rid of alot of junk and phosphates. It is really nice media though! Thanks Jon!!

I added all 50 pounds and it still could probably handle 15 more pounds...wow, its huge!

I finally got a picture of the Fowleri Tang and a couple more shots of the Foxface.

I haven't even got the full burn in on the Radiums and I LOVE them...

Remember this picture...

Well, The space to the left of the picture (approx 9 x 6) will be added to the tank room!

So here is my plans for the new space...I will use the back wall as the new space for the frag tanks. The front wall will be used for more cabinets (for now...hehe)...Would be a great spot for a 5 x 4 x 30".

What that does for the current space is open up the wall the frag tanks are on to add in the second RO/DI tank and space to add sump in the corner of the room (near the salt bucket as it slants that way). Plus this gives me some more floor real estate for future additions to the tank (sumps, refugiums, etc).
