North Dakota Mini-Ocean

Yup, I have read up on that stuff but decided i didn't want to dose all that stuff daily.

Gem Tang, Rhomboids (5), Conspic Angel, and Black Tangs (5) are coming...

On another note...

I have a leak somewhere in my tank room...Not a lot (maybe 1/2 per day) onto the floor. I cannot see anything leaking, but its mainly pooling around the left sump and 105 gallon top-off tank in the room.

I have used a shop vac to suck everything around the sump and holding tank and yet its still pooling up a little bit at a time. But the holding tank and salinity are not out of wack.

Im lost...

Also, why don't you scoop up the Tinkers butterfly in the sales forum? $250 +shipping is a great price. Id get it but I have my heart set on a Declivis...

...playmate or playmates :)

I think you need to get those at a mansion... ;)

I have another 'Stick' for ya when I can find the time to drop it off. it's decent size but you still might want to grow it out a bit.

Let me know when the fish are in and I'll stop by to check them out.

Finding a leak in a system like yours must be a PITA. So many tanks, joints, and potential leak points... might be like finding a needle in a haystack. If you need an extra set of eyes to help look after the long weekend let me know.

Post some pictures.

You haven't seen it? I got it from an LFS...just happened to pop in right after it was received. It out-grew its previous home, mostly because the stated max size is 9" and when I got it, it was at least 11.5". Now I would guess it is ~12.5" and even putting out streamers. Under my 20K lamps, it has brilliant blue lines and margins. A remarkable specimen for sure.

This is a video from when he first went into my system:

There are more pictures of his first couple of days in the tank here. He has a strong relationship with a couple of cleaner wrasses.

Here is a more recent vid:

Words cannot describe how healthy and vibrant this fish is.

Pictures and video do not do it justice. I guess that's always the case, but anyone who has been here can attest to how sweet he is. He can eat an entire nori sheet like spaghetti.

MSFT is in Fargo???
