yep... i used to have a pic of mine (as a frag) on my site under "LE" corals i was growing out... i changed my site around and that info is gone... thats why when you google it... you get my site, but a broken link

I have a pink prostrata with the top 1/4 to 1/2" is a vivid blue color. Around here, we call it a raspberry prostrata..wonder if it's the same?

I'll see about posting a picture later.

Could be. Northstar didn't call their stuff Northstar, but Northstar was known for bringing the nice stuff in IRC. The owners of Northstar had "The Eye". Over time, people just tacked on the name after they closed shop.

For example, tfp has this Northstar unkown or something like that. It's a REALLY nice coral. The general concensus is that it maybe the same, or is, an ORA Purple Pillow.

Northstarcorals.com was the website of RC member SawCJack00, who shutdown his website a few years ago for family reasons I believe when he was in Minnesota... He moved to Florida afterwards and got back into the hobby ... He had an awesome tank, on top of some beautiful corals and a nicely designed website...

You could probably shoot him a PM for some history...

Here's a picture as promised. Sorry for the quality, but the only way to get a true impression of the colors was to shoot it slightly from above. Something about that 1/2" thick glass at an angle distorts things a bit

I dont know if it is the same thing but mine has the blue tips and pink body but it also has green polyps. I have been trying to find out where it came from. it was all brown when I picked it up.

i got a frag from stan also. but mine is smaller I must not know the secret handshake.

i couldnt find much info on it either but a beautiful coral nonetheless.

no i havnt taken any pics yet as it is just a frag and nothing spectacular...I just hope it comes out as nice as Stan's...
