not Eagle Eyes

Yeah, they're not a lot of things, but Eagle Eyes come to mind.

I have a colony of like 100 Eagle Eyes and these ain't those. These are bigger, the largest of which reach almost dime size with expanded skirt, though I don't think they're palys. Most of them are large zoo size. The tentacles have electric yellow green patches and aren't a continuous light to medium green like Eagle Eyes. Those electric patches really glow under actinics, unlike Eagle Eyes.

The faces tend to take on additional coloration as seen here. In the second pic of this same variety you can seen patches of yellow and green on the face. There are some tealy zoos in both pics that I'm not referring to.

I've been to Coralpedia and didn't seen anything there that looks like 'em.

Any guesses?

Being somewhat similar to jumbo Eagle Eyes, I'd be tempted to call them Condor Eyes. With the varied and often unusual face colors I'd call them Crazy Condor Eyes or Radioactive Condor Eyes because of the electric coloration on the tentacles.

i get the same green mouth morph with my whamin watermelons which makes them go green, red, then green again.. sexy! lol

they almost look like skittles or some type of rainbows?

condor eyes is a pretty good name though.. take some flash shots and add it to zoaid

Maybe the "green mouth morph" is a trait in zooanthids that appears from time to time? It may be lighting dependent, as I recently changed my old MH XM bulbs with new EVC bulbs. Same color temp (20kK) though apparently more par. The "Condor Eyes" look more like pic #1 now, versus with the XMs when the "freaky" ones looked like pic #2.

Thanks Kdocimo90. They are hardy and grow well.

They're the same polyps. Depending on lighting and different tank conditions they VARY in size, patterns, morphs etc.

I have used to have 8-9 different eagle eye or similar polyp morphs. different colors, patterns , sizes etc.
