I'm looking for a little info. My son and his g/f are moving to Petaluma and will be looking for a place to rent. Can anyone suggest some places for them to look at?

Rent in Petaluma will probably surprise you, it's not cheap in Sonoma County.

Yes we are seeing that. They are willing to live a little ways away but she has a job in Petaluma. He'll be looking for one.

Santa Rosa has cheaper areas if she doesn't mind commuting. So does Rohnert Park.

Oh nice! I'm in Petaluma. Where did she get hired?Id start checking Craig's list but there's not much and it is pricy

Yes, they have been looking at Santa Rosa as the commute isn't too bad.....although I have no idea what traffic is like out there. I'll mention Rohnert Park as well.

@GrantW my son has been looking (he worked for a MLS company here) but yea, there really isn't much advertised. I'm not sure of the company name...they bought out the biotech she worked for here and then offered her a position out there...I'm guessing they bought the IP for the most part as they are shutting down the facility here.

Traffic between Santa Rosa and Petaluma isn't too bad plus the are multiple ways to get to and from not just the 101.

Has your son tried using Indeed for his job search?

@mav3rick478 I'm not sure which engines he's been using. He said he has seen some things but I think he's waiting until they get there. They just shipped their cars last week but I know it was supposed to take about 10 days so they might be stuck with a rental until then.
