Not in FAQ: What time of day to feed & for noobie, how to offer frozen food

So i am a newbie. When do I feed? In the morning when lights are not fully on? Or in the day when they are on? Or in the evening?

Also, I was given frozen cube type things as a recommended food from the LFS. He said to use half of the cube and that is it.

I've heard to grid this up...with what do you suggest? Can i use tweezers, chop it up into minute pieces, then place the food on top of the water and the clown will come? Do I have to force feed to the area it is in? Should I turn off all fluid motion equipment?

You don't specify whether you are talking about an anemone or clownfish, size or species, etc.

False perc. sorry. small size. maybe 1.5 - 2in

I feed both flake and frozen. Just switch it up. I feed in the morning and my clowns will eat out of my hand. They will get to know you and will be very receptive to you. My fire shrimp will even come out when I feed and jump on my finger and clean my nails.
