Not sure what is happening to my SPS

I have had this coral for about 6 months now, and it has been growing great. I have not added anything to the thank, but over the last few days, this has happened. Note the brown tips.

Looks like dead tips with algae growing on them. Burnt tips maybe. What is your alk at?

Yup it's high, doing a water change now. Should I clip the tips or see if they recover?

Try to keep the alk stable, what are the value?

Alk is stabilized, I cut the tips, and wow the recovery.
