i know it would be better if i had a pic but i couldn't get one and now he is in hidding again... but it was about 2inchs around and on the glass he looked like one of those really big snails but when i went to see the top side i could see there was no shell and was kinda pink or peach colored, he moved pretty fast and i have not added anything to my tank for about 9m and never seen it before but i do have a large tank with alot of rock but this thing is sooooo big you would think it would be hard to miss.... any ideas so i can google it would be great.. would like to leave him in there if hes ok but if hes not then the next time i see him i will have to get him out.

i looked those up and i do have some of them but that was not what this was, this thing has no shell at all and i really don't remember seeing the mouth part on the glass but it may have been just moveing and not eating so the mouth was not on the glass, but he was farly flat and huge.. but the rest of the foot looked like the bottom side of the stomatella, i did check close and know there was no shell at all on him...

if its a dolabrifera dolabrifera or Sea Hare, it is harmless and its color is determined by region of origin or diet of algae. Some that eat a lot of red algae look pink in color.
