i picked up a branching frogspawn last friday and i super glued it to some rock on my tank and i woke up with it falling over in the sand so i tried to stick it back on the rock where it was and it fell over about an hour later so i just placed it into the sand until i can buy stronger glue. but there seems to be a problem with one of the branches its shrivelled up and the tentacles are black and the tips are grey. im not sure if this is it being stressed out from the falls or its dying.
all water parameters are in check and i have a hammer coal (which are supposed to be harder to keep) that is doing great so not sure what the problem is

If it were in my tank, I would personally cut/dremel it off since it looks like it would be a clean and easy cut and would not affect the other head. Just adds a place for algae and detritus to collect.
