ETRC November meeting on 11/17/2007 (Meeting held at Stefan and Donna Ronnebeck's house)
Minutes
The meeting starting time was 1 pm. The business portion of the meeting started approximately 1:30.

Randy Outhouse started the meeting with a discussion of club improvement topics that have been discussed in previous meetings, on the RC forum, and by the BOD.
These areas of improvement are:
1. Structured meetings
2. Topics of discussion during the meetings
3. Financial disclosure - David Sease to make a report each meeting
4. Events calendar - includes club meetings, public meetings, field trips, Christmas party, group buys.
5. Frag swap sponsored by ETRC
Swap to be held one of the weekends during the last of May. Need a location with a large area, open floor plan, numerous electrical outlets, no carpet, ample parking. Eddie Neal volunteered to check out the possibility of using his church for a swap.
6. Group orders
7. Field trips â€"œ a trip to the Chattanooga Aquarium with free admission for club members and with a behind-the-scenes tour available for a charge. Family members will be welcome. This trip is currently being planned. Also a trip to Matt Carberry’s was presented.
8. Part of the meeting should include a more formalized presentation of the host’s tank
9. Start the meeting on time
10. Door prizes â€"œ salt, coral, etc.
11. If a member leaves the club no refund of club dues will be made
12. Website advertisement â€"œ Aquatic Island advertising will be deleted from the ETRC site
13. Public Relations person appointed by the BOD. Chris Ray has accepted the position.
14. Public club meeting to be held at the Coral Reef twice each year. It was discussed that a public meeting might make it easier for new members to attend an initial meeting since it was in a public place and not at a private home. It was discussed that it might help with the relationship between the club and Coral Reef (club activities supporting the business and visa versa).
15. Christmas party â€"œ Chris Ray has volunteered to host the Christmas party.
16. Donny Mai volunteered to donkey Scott Davis with ETRC website duties.
17. The MACNA conference on Sept 12-14 next year was discussed.

18. Scott Davis introduced his efforts to produce an ETRC forum website.
Scott also requested that members pictures and tank pictures be sent to him. He will update the ETRC site with the pictures.
Randy ask the attendees for ideas for meeting discussion/presentation topics.

Meetings will be on the third Saturday of each month unless that conflicts with a holiday.
A new phone list may need to be generated.
