There's the mention of Caulerpa taxifolia in this article. As a longtime freshwater aquarist, I was surprised to hear Hygrophila polysperma is also an invasive species:

I'd love to hear feedback from any of the online resellers that frequent this section of Reefcentral.com on their thoughts regarding this issue. I've heard the suggestion to freeze any macroalgaes before throwing them away. I wonder if any of the macros in my tank could survive in the cold waters of the SF Bay Area.
