ok. so yesterday i spent 14 hours tearing down my 100gal chiclid tank to start my fowlr tank . what a job but so far i've got 120lbs aragonite sand and all the water in all pumps filters and powerheads are running. today[sunday] i pick up the live rock and start aquascaping.however i was wondering if my protien skimmer is supposed to produce some many bubbles or is this something that is normal with new water,anyway i'm off to my LFS toget my rock

thats normal for the protein skimmer. i just took of my collector cup for a few days and let it run. after about a week it was ready. congrats.
