Nudibrachs might be bizarre, but they are also some of the most beautiful organisms living today. You clearly show that with your photographic skills.

I love nudis, those are really outstanding, I had no idea they lived in Ca.

Very nice set up! You have have given me some ideas on how to set up something similar for a controlled environment when shooting my little critters.

thanks for the shot of your setup! The flash so close you must dial that down.. Do you use manual or auto mode?

Thanks! i was shooting these at F11 or so. I was shooting with my 35mm macro but I still wasnt getting the DOF I would have liked. Unfortunately these slugs are a lot faster than they seem! I've been meaning to try stacking but it probably wont work with these guys. I guess this is why people get extension tubes? haha

I like the dof on these shots. How large are these nudis? Anyways, outstanding work!
 
Now that is a very cool setup. Simple, easily transportable, and obviously works with your talents to produce some great results! Thanks for sharing. Those Gorillapods are pretty handy it seems. Maybe I need to look at investing in one.
