Nudibranchs eggs

i found eggs on my new zoas
i dipped them for 30 minutes in fresh water then scraped the eggs off that i seen.
is there any thing else i should do?

How do the zoanthids look?
Sounds like a bit too long of a dip,IMO.

they look fine. most of them opened.
do u think any pests could have lived through that?

I would think that any nudibranchs would have perished in a 1/2 hour dip in freshwater.
Just wondering did you adjust the ph of the freshwater to that of the saltwater?

I'd keep close watch on them just in case a egg or two didn't get scraped off.

yes i adjusted the ph. would the eggs of survived the dip?

Normally the dip doesn't do much to the eggs, just the nudibranch s that have already hatched out.

i only dip for 5 minutes. but you might want to keep an eye on it for a few weeks, watch for closed polyps.
