nUgZ's 40 Breeder

I've got a 40 breeder that's been set up with a tiny amount of base rock and live sand for a week or two. It's got an Aquaclear 110 set up as a refugium running filter floss at the moment. For the moment there's a basic light, heater, and powerheads running. It'll be right soon though. Here are some shots of it when I was filling it. I'll post some pics of the tank with the new rock soon.

Here is a pic of the tank with the rock in it. It's not aquascaped in any way, just sitting in there. I'll work on it some more tomorrow.

Here are a couple closeups of the coraline.

Here are some pics of the aquascape as it stands currently. I'm not 100% on it, but it's ok I guess. The rocks on the left are too close to the glass, so they'll come over a little. Thanks for looking.

Here's the FTS.

They are. They'll fight anything up to their size and some larger. They do a great job of keeping amphipods in check though. That's why I had him in the frag tank.

Since the 33 cube won't be ready for a bit I decided to try the Coralife Aqualight fixture on this tank. I'm only using the halide and the light is sitting sideways, but it doesn't look bad and I think it'll work until I find something more appropriate. I'll post some pics this afternoon.

Picked up some Nassarius, Astrea, and Trochus snails this evening. I've transfered most of the corals from the 10g reef except some mushrooms that I need to break off of the rocks. I need to get a new Phoenix 14k bulb, so the tank has a 10k running currently. It's coming along nicely though...
