I had a 16 that cracked. Good thing it was taken down when it happened. Granted the tank was sitting outside for two weeks but I've had tanks sit out for years with no issues. I didn't know at the time they were prone to cracking and thought it may have been a neighbor's softball coming over that had cracked it. I see them in our yard all the time. When I found out about all these incidents the warranty had long expired already.
I wouldn't trust any of the older 16s or 24s. Sure they'll replace the tank but what about all your livestock?
