Nuvo Fusion 20l late build thread

So it's been over a week since I've updated the thread. I have added a handful of corals and got an ATO for my birthday.

Since my last post I added:

- green pagoda cup
- couple of zoa colonies
- star polyp
- blasto

We picked up most of these at a store outside of Houston while driving back home to San Antonio. A couple of the frags came with some hitchhikers... A couple of brittle stars, what looks like a clam and APTASIA! Yesterday I picked up two peppermint shrimp and I woke up this morning to find it gone :-)

Also, I found a file on another thread with settings for my AI Prime, I'm going to give those levels a try and report back.

Here are some pictures of the recent additions.

I am going skimmerless as well. never have I done this before and im a bit nervous. I have a bunch of LR and sand and wanted to do some macro. do you recommend the chaeto? the refugium is in the back section of the tank right? this is an all in one? which chamber do you put it in? where do you put the filter floss exactly? is this just added filtration on top of the stuff that the tank comes with?

The Chaeto has really added to my biological filter, we are about to have to cut it back due to the growth. It's in the second chamber from the left, next to where I have my filter sock. I just have a cheap submerged led feeding it with light 24/7.

The chaeto also feeds a nice supply of copepods for my fish to snack on. As for the filter floss, it's in the last chamber of my media basket, along with one of the stock sponges and some chemi-pure elite.

I will say, I highly recommend the Red Sea Coral Pro salt mix. My corals have really thrived, opening almost immediately after acclimation and I haven't had to dose so far (the tank is at it's 3 month point). The other recommendation I have is the Smart ATO system, it's great for a nano setup.
