Nyos 220 on a 120g?

Got a 120g with 50ish gallon sump. After rock and substrate displacement, I expect to have roughly 120-130 gallons of water in my system.

Tank came with reef octopus super XP-3000int. Which is just too large, takes up way too much space and not very energy friendly. I had a nyos 220 offered to me for $100. Seems like a decent price, but while doing my research it seems like they have alot of issues. I'm also thinking it might also be over kill for my build?

Last tank was a 90g and it had a bubble magus curve 7 elite. That thing was great, so I considered using the curve 9 elite on the 120g or maybe even just sticking to the curve 7 again.

Any thoughts here or recommendations on a budget friendly skimmer? The key here is budget friendly and can't have a huge footprint. So no external pumps.

I've been using an OLD eShoppes S-120 for years now on tanks ranging is size from 40 gallons to 92 gallons and have no complaints.

Found an eshopps axium X-160 for $100 and a eshopps S-200 for $200 used locally. Need to dig deeper for more info on them. I plan to have a pretty heavily stocked tank and full of mixed corals, but heavier on the SPS side.
