i was wondering if anyone has metro pcs? how good is the signal? i have verizon and it has been horrible lately. i like metro pcs plan for 50.00 you get everything and more. just wanted to see what you all think.

had them years ago and we hated it. bad reception. it could be different, now that they are paired up w/nextel. we have tmobile now, and we like it-but have heard from some there's bad reception, although we haven't had any problems. my sis in NYC gets bad reception thru t-mobile, but that could be from all the buildings. going w/att when our contract expires. i get 40% off :D
i think you will get a lot of different opinions.

I had the worst reception ever with metro in miami. I went with tmobile 3 years ago and havn't looked back. Great service. Only upside with metro is that there cheap! tmobile is expensive.. my bill reaches $200 sometimes.

whats that old saying... if it sounds to good to be true..

i have tmobile as well. we just went to 1000 minutes a piece a month with nights and weekends for 39 a phone

I have had really good luck with verizon. Could your phone be on the fritz or a tower in your area be acting up?

its everywhere for my phone. i try to update it twice a week. its the most expensive phone that verizon sells as far as i know. should work right. iam going to try switching to the chocolate phone i have sitting around and see how it does, but i love my pda. i think i will be lost without it (i am very forgetful).

thanks all that have posted. please if anyone has it now please let me know what you think! iam really hoping that it has changed sense it is so cheap and no contract.
i have a feeling that verizon has just got swamped with customers and cant handle the call volume?

the razor phone was one of the most expensive phones on the market at one point, but one of the worst performing. expensive does not mean good. Is it possible you have a crap phone? I am all over orlando and NEVER even bother to check for signal before making calls.

i agree. i never had trouble when i had my razor phone and this one worked ok for awhile, it just seems to be getting worse everyday. i feel like iam using nextel or something (lol).

My wife has the new Razor V9m and she loves it. I use a mogul also with sprint and so far both work great.

i have a metro and also have at&t..i love them both.. i have to say on i75 going to miami this pass weekend i have full bars on the metro and not on my att!

i just recently switched to metro due to the job/money situation ... was sick of paying $200-250 /month for my Sprint/nextel blackberry.

I've got better reception in most places, less dropped calls, and i think with everything (paper bill, upgraded voicemail & uMlimited plan) it's about $49 ...... thats uMlimited nationwide .. not local.

I'm happy - and i picked up the cheapest nokia they offered ... LOVE IT! I use up somewhere around 2500-4000 minutes on average every month ... hence the $200-$250 sprint bill.

I switched from Sprint/Nextel to boostmobile. Same type of deal $60/mo for unlimited calls which I need. I was paying over $200/mo. Boost is the same network as Sprint/Nextel. The only thing that sucks is as they are owned by the same company, they wouldn't let me port my number.

Very large service area and no reception problems so far and I'm all over the state.
