Observable Differences between Gen 1 and Gen 2 Mini Bubble King 160

What are the differences between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Mini Bubble King 160?

I've noticed on your site you still have the really dated picture of the BK Minis with all acrylic bubble plates so those pictures aren't of much help.

From what I've read there were changes to the volute on the pump but I'm not sure what else has been done. I also don't know if these changes were ever actually incorporated into the 160 anyway.

So if anyone has pictures for comparison or at least a description of the changes I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Andrew,

The Gen 2 has a larger venturi, venturi line, and the line is incorporated into the wedge pipe itself with a built in silencer. You no longer have a silencer hanging off the top of the wedge pipe. The pump is also drawing more air than the older models as well.

Did they make a Gen. 2 160? I've only seen mention of Gen.2 180's and 200's.

There is a Gen. 2 for all three Mini models, the 160, 180, and 200.
