Oh really? Who's standard is that slow by? 6 weeks is quick! Some manufacturers I was looking at had 5+ month delays.

He know longs sells to the public direct as far as I know. He only does wholesale now but you never know he might Ill see if I still have his email addy

Ty is no longer building tanks to my knowledge he was suppose to build me a 300 and things did not work out he hurt his arm and cracked the tank and he told me that he had enough and that he was getting out of it and he return my deposit without any issues.

Guess he changed his mind then my LFS just got a bunch of tanks from him the other day.

He is mainly doing wholesale only.There are a couple stores that will be carring his tanks.

Good to hear if true and my tank was a wholesale tank through a business wish he would have built mine instead had to go the ******* route.

I know he is still making tanks but think he has slowed things down some as I think it was a bit to much for him with everything else he does. Making tanks is a side job for him but has a couple guys that helps him.
Ill be getting my tank made by him as he is pretty local to me

I hope you have better luck than I did. I decided back in january to have him build a sump to fit under my 110. He said he would have it finished in 2 weeks. Two weeks later he said it would be a couple more days. He kept putting me off a week at a time until one day he finely said it was finished to come to his shop in sardis and pick it up the next day. The next day the shop was closed. He didnt answer when I called,and didnt return my call. He is a great guy, does good work, but is far from dependable. I didnt bother him, only called a week or in two weeks when he told me it would be finished. He led me on for over two months and then nothing else was said about it. He told me to wait to pay him when he was finished. I should have taken that as a hint I guess.

Yes I know all about that he has already done me that way with a frag tank.Maybe it will all work out and if not Ill have to pay more and get it else where

I can do either but will do it thru the store so there is no hassle or bs that Ill have to deal with Ill let them deal with the run around if there is any. I think they will be able to get it faster than I could anyway because they deal with him more
