Ocean Nutrition packaging and formula changes!!!

If anyone on here purchases Formula 2 like I do on a regular basis should know this. It is divided into two different Formula 2, one contains garlic which is the RDF formula and one doesn't. I was NOT aware of it until tonight and I'm a little ticked since I am fighting ich right now after not having to fight it for the past 5 years since formula 2 always worked for me. I wish I knew they changed everything. MUST buy RDF tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

Within this past month is when this happened. I know cause I feed exclusively formula 2 for the past 5 years. I had the smaller package and I feed 1 cube per day. Then I had to get a new pack and that's when I found out the package was different. It is nicer then what they had before, it breaks up a lot easier then the old formula, but it is very messy and it goes everywhere in the tank unlike the previous formula. But I haven't try the RDF formula yet to see the difference. It confused me to have two different formula 2 with one that's RDF with added garlic.

Gotcha.

Does RDF stand for something other than garlic or does it just mean that it has garlic in it?

the new RDF line (Rapid Delivery Formulation) is nearly identical to the original gel based Formulas, except when melted the RDF food separates into small gel based pellets for easier feeding.

A full ingredient list below:

Kril, Plankton, gel binder, shrimp, spinach, clams, kelp, fish hydrolysate, tuna eggs, fish meal, squid, lecithin, vitamins (choline chloride, ascorbic acid including stabilized vitamin C, vitamin E supplement, niacin, thiamine mononitrate, folic acid, calcium pantothnate, riboflavin, menadione sodium bisulfite complex, vitamin A acetate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin B-12 supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, biotin), paprika, cantaxanthin, fish oil, trace elements (manganese sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, sodium selenite) and astaxanthine.

It does separate into small particles for easier feeding yes, but it does not do as well as their original form, but I'm still in trial period. I could tell you that after I've been purchasing it for the past 5 years. Give me a few more days of try out to give you updates since I've only been using the RDF for 2 days. Another thing, it is very messy to feed where food breaks up into small particles and flows everywhere, the previous formula is in chunks unless you really melt it down if you want it mushy.
