Just a brief FYI,
My family and I just got back from a vacation/wedding along the Kona cost. I took my two year old son to check out the Ocean Rider seahorse farm which is located right behind the Kona Airpot.
The tour is about an hour long. They show you how they are kept and raised, what they feed, etc. Since I had my 2yr old I was unable to get a lot of pics, and I haven't had time to load them onto the computer.
Overall it was a pretty cool tour if you are into aquariums of any kind especially saltwater aquariums. They also had a few sea draggons they are trying to get to breed, but no luck just yet. The biologist alos mentioned they are just now trying to get into breeding yellow tangs, but so far no luck at spawning yet.
If you are ever in the area I would recommend it. If you are looking to purchase sea horses for your aquarium I would definitely recommend these guys.
