Ocean Runner 3700 threads

I just got an Ocean Runner 3700 and was wondering what threads are on the outlet?

They are very close to 1-1/2" pipe threads, but not exactly. Before I forced the fitting on there, I thought I would ask.

It looks like 1/2 of a union, but none of the ones I have fit. Maybe I just need the other 1/2 of the union.

I have seen skimmers using these pumps and it looks like they used the 1-1/2" pipe fitting.

They are a metric size. To my knowledge we do not have anything here in the US that will fit them unless you can find a place who sells metric. The 3700 only comes with the fittings to make it connect right up to an AquaMedic skimmer, where as the 3500 comes with all the other add on fittings and the unions, but no needle wheel impeller.
