Oceanrevive

I bought another one and just received it yesterday. I mounted the two of them on the one side of my 200g. I am very impressed of the looks and of the intensely of the light. The instructions for the lights timer suck. Still trying to figure that out. I am going to buy two more for the other side of the 200g. I never had LED's before. I love the looks of the light spectrum they put off. They are very bright. But do they grow and maintain coral? We'll see.

In the picture, on the left is the two OceanRevive. On the right is one 250w Phoenix 14k and four T5's.

Only thing I see, and I notice it on m ReefBreeders, the LEDs look like they 'spotlight' the area underneath in white. While the T5s looks like the spectrum is a little more blended. Due to this I have really been thinking of removing the 90 degree optics on mine, just to see if it helps any.

of course, what we see with our naked eye and what the reef truly needs to survive is 2 different things.

If they actually look as bright as or brighter to your eye than your MH or T5 setups they are likely set to high. Just hate to see another "I cooked xxxx with LEDs " thread. Nice Tank!

I had the whites at 40% and the blues at 100% when I took the picture. Now I have them set at 40 and 70.

I'd be interested in picking this up as a spare. I don't know if I'll be your way for a couple of weeks though.

I may have a brand new T247 for sale too. Only had it a week and it hasn't been used, but getting ahold of them to try to return it is proving difficult so I may be stuck with it. Would also ask $120 for it.

Why are you trying to return it?

Got an awesome deal on a used Radion Gen 2! The T247 works just fine and seems to be a good LED fixture, but I can't pass up a great deal like what I'm getting on the Radion lol

Glad to hear it! Pics?

That looks nice and bright. Is it blue and white or a mix of colors?
From their site:
LED Quantity 48pcs
Red 660nm 2pcs
Green 520nm 2pcs
Blue 470nm 8pcs
Royal Blue 450nm16pcs
Violet 420nm 6pcs
Cool White 12000K 8pcs
Cool White 10000K 6pcs

I have the same fixture and it seems nice. The blues and whites are on different channels, so you can change the look/intensity to whatever you want.

Picked this up from pepino yesterday.
This thing seems like a beast compared to the duel t5 setup I had on my 40.
The colors on the coral just pop on this. Still trying to play with the controls a bit, current picture is 20/20, I feel like its almost to much. Still trying to find out about moon lighting, guess it doesnt have a setting for that

No moon lights on it.

I will get you guys some pictures this weekend. I finally got four of them on my 200g. They look awesome. The only thing I can say bad about them is their instruction suck. Thats for understanding how to set up the timers and using the remote. But slowly I'm starting to figure out how to program it. If you search here on RC, there is a guy who has made up good instructions on how to set them up and how to program it's features.
