OK it's been a bit. does everyone still like theirs? Has anyone had good results with tanks at or greater than 24" water height?

Just curious, seems like a really good deal for the price IMO.

Do these fade in and out or just pop on like traditional lights?

the Arctic-T247 do not fade, the pop on blue or white pending on what you have set.

the OR-IT2040 do fade and what not

Makeshift is correct, Arctic-T247 the blue is channel 1 and the full spectrum is channel 2 and it is instant on per channel.
My tank is over 24" deep but I am new at this hobby and this is my first "real" light so I have nothing to compare it to or PAR results. That said I had it about 6 months and couldn't be happier so far.

I just got my oceanrevive T247 and I love it!
The only concern I have is that only one fan is turning on.
I have ch1 @ 30% and ch2 @ 15%.
Is the secondary always supppsed to run? Or does it kick in only when the temp gets to high or when a certain % is attained?

When I owned these lights I seem to remember there being a minimum threshold for fans to come on. 15% May be too low for the fans to engage

I checked mine last night and the white were off. Just the blues running and both fans were running.
