Putting the pieces together for a new build. Tank is around 50 gallons (36x18x18), sump will hold a max of about 23, usually more like 15 gallons, so total volume is around 65.
I am going to skim it with a deltec mce600 in the sump. My research has shown the mce600 aquabee pump pulls around 160 gph, anyone seen different?
I was planning on using an oceanrunner 2500 for my return pump. I would like to make a mini-manifold off the return and supply a carbon reactor and a refugium (neiter of which need a tonne of flow).
With that is mind with the 2500 be sufficient? I only need about 200 gph to be returned to the tank. Stand is a standard affair probably about 4-5 feet of head.
