Oceans Floor will be having another major event this weekend and will also be showing off the new 42"D Zero Edge! They are stocking up and I was told that they'll have a big assortment of SPS colonies (not frags!) for $49.99!!!

I got the latest word direct from Dave on the event:

"We will be having a huge special (bigger then our anniversary sale) on all fish, coral, bio-cubes, T5 lights and more. We will be loaded beyond belief with our coral and fish. Food will be available throughout the day and we will have several free drawings (amazing prizes) for people to win. The sale will be the 21st and 22nd. We will also be unveiling our new 42" diameter 25" high zero edge (I am excited). The SPS tank is loaded and we will have huge deals on colonies and frags. We promise to make it worth your time. We hope you all can join us for our Huge Sale introducing our new zero edge. "

god i wish i could make it, maybe on lunch break... would all of you let me cut since i cant be gone for more than 1.5 hours on lunch
i love the store and i love dave, great guy, super nice. His wife and father in law were great at the frag swap, gave me a hard time! Felt like home. I hope you all take the acros and leave the simpler corals (zoas, etc...) to us lesser folks

Okay, here are a few more details on the sale.....

ZOOS! - Zoo frags $15 (buy 3 get 1 free) Dave said they have some great colors, but sorry no brown! LOL

For Nano fans, they have Bio-cubes on sale - The 29gallon will be $240, , the 14 gallon will be $165, the 8 gallon will be $130. They also have stands for the 14 ($85) & the 29 ($115)

Most of the questions have been on the selection of SPS colonies, but they promise good size colonies starting at $49 (even some loripes, tenuis, etc.)

He also said they will have several FREE DRAWINGS

I just received the email invite to their sale!

In addition to all of the fish and corals they are stocking up on, you can now buy Rods Food at Oceans Floor!!!

So the destination is Lake in the Hills at 10:30 AM on Saturday!

I'm bumming that I going to miss the first day of the sale as I have family in town on Saturday. Hopefully there's something left on Sunday. I was there yesterday and the SPS tank is stocked full of some AMAZING SPS!

Also, I have purchased plenty of live rock from Ocean's Floor and have never had an issue!

I agree, the live rock is fine, nothing wrong with it! I called Dave back after the post above and he's not had any complaints either.....

CMAS members, don't forget your CMAS card.... And fill out a raffle ticket for your president, Doug Lehman! He needs all of the help he can get to replace everything that was lost during the power outage in August!
