Hello, I have a 150 gallon tank and I am installing a closed loop in it and I was going to just run a 1.5 inch return line to the tank and then separate that into (4) 3/4 inch outs into the tank. the (4) 3/4 outs would give the same area that the 1.5 inch would have however I have had a couple people mention to me the oceans motion piece. This is a new item that I have not heard about before now and Iam looking for a little input on it and if I should drop the near $400 on it or just stay with my original idea? The pump that I will be using for the return is a Danner Pondmaster HY26 rated @ 2600 gph. Thanks in advance for any input on this piece.

I have an Oceansmotions 4 way squirt on my CL. Mabe the best piece of aquarium gear I have ever owned.

Go with an OM unit; they are great. The SuperSquirt should fit the bill, but i think the max input is 1" so you'll need the 4-way for 1 1/2".

thanks, I appreciate the help. sometimes I don't mind taking a hit on a few dollars but this piece is a bit expensive to just buy and find out it's not all that and then have to explain it to my wife while she's giving me that "look".

I highly recommend the OM 4 way. It is perhaps the best engineered piece of hardware I own. Well worth the money for the flow you get and they are extremely reliable. It is one piece of gear that I don't think I have ever seen anyone selling used.

They've been around for a while and no complaints with mine.

I have it in the 4 bottom corners and have constant random motion as shown by my Xenia.
