Ocellaris Bonded Pair Question

I have two Ocellaris in a biocube 29 I have owned for about 2 years now. They were both purchased as juveniles from the same tank at lfs and have been together since. The question I have is... shouldn't they have formed a bonded pair by now? All they have been doing is fighting each other. The bigger of the two beats on the other till it leaves its area and goes into the smaller ones area to pick on it... they have been this way since I got them! other tank mates are Royal Gramma and 6 line. They NEVER hang out together, the smaller one will try and go to bigger one but gets chased off. I will get a pic up later if it helps.

Even if they are paired, the female can be a real bully sometimes. Mine just makes sure she eats before the male, others keep the male controlled in a certain area of the tank

ok I was not aware of this. Everything I have read says that they hang out together and the fighting is almost completely gone. Good to know they can act this way and still be bonded.
