I don't know what is going on with my female ocellaris. I think she might be using algae as a host. Do you guys think thats what she is doing? She is laying in it and rubbing all over it. If thats what she is doing I'm going to feel really bad when I take that algae away from her. Sorry little clown but that bad algae has got to go.:p What do you guys think? She is rubbing in it like its an anemone. LOL

Just click on the image and it will take you to the video.

I hope so, she is freaking me out a little doing that. I didn't know clowns would use algae as a host. I've heard of them using heaters, corals, veggie clips and corners of tanks..using algae as a host..Weird!

She is eating like a pig, more so than usual. Does anyone think she might lay eggs near that patch of pest algae. She must of hit her head on the rocks too much while sleeping.

I will really freak out if she starts to feed the algae. If she does then, she is the reason why I have an algae problem. She is feeding it:mad2:

It has hosted that place for sure. I use to have two ocellaris that host my hair algae. The algae were BIG! Like 2 inches long. But after i did the tank cleaning i saved a little bit for them. And they loved it. Until my snail and hermits ate it all.

My clown does the same thing! I almost hate to siphon out the cyano because he likes it so much. It's not a great video but at night he definately lays there.
