Ocellaris misbar tail stripe

I have this Ocellaris that I got a while ago at my LFS. He's been very healthy and a great fish. He does have a distinctive misbar half tail stripe. I was just wondering when I upgrade my 29g and go to my 55g I want to add another. I know, add them both to the 55g at the same time. But I was wondering if I add a normal or other misbar type will there be any problems with them getting along? The misbars don't get shunned from the rest or automatically dominated do they? Are they any more collected because of a misbar rather then a whole Picasso type? I personally like my little guy and his uniqueness.

How about some photos of your unique clowns?

should be mine just so you know your clownfish is a True Perc not a Ocellaris at least from what i can tell because of the eyes

Misbars are usually not wild caught. They are a result of poor water quality during their larvae stage. That being said, it is not genetic and clownfish do not seem to discriminate misbars. A lot of people have misbars with normally patterned clowns and they pair up just fine.

Thanks guys.
Interesting. I didn't know it was result of poor water during that stage. Well the little guy has been doing great and is probably about a year old. When I got it I held out because they had a "bad" shipment the week before. They told me it would be better to come back next week when their supplier had better stock. Maybe it was left over or just a bad breeder.
