Just bought two ocellaris clownfish. One was a bit larger than the other. the smaller one had a chunk missing out of its first fin. just wondering if this matters at all. very new to salt water tanks and fish. (me and a friend share a tank).

I would separate the aggressor in the breeding net, so she can see the smaller one but cannot attack him, and let the smaller one heal. It might take 2-3 weeks.
