ocellaris pairing?

I've had 2 ocellaris clowns for a couple years now, they have grown quite a bit but I got them when they were young. One I got a 2 years after the other and it is much smaller. They host a frogspawn in my tank but I was wondering how old they have to be to start breeding, and any other useful things that would help encourage them to do so.

Usually by 2 years of age they are old enough to reproduce. However, they also need to be in the proper condition (and even then, no absolute guarantees). To try and get them spawning, feed them a variety of high quality foods several times per day, along with a long summer time photo period. If they are fat and happy, and thinking it's spawning season, they are likely spawn ;)

and water changes! You want to keep nitrates as low as possible, as well as other organic wastes, so a skimmer and WC's are a must as well. In addition to what Bill said, high quality frozen and live foods are a definite plus to allowing them to spawn. Food wise, mysis, shrimp+shell, squid, clams, and blackworms are all good for conditioning.

You may also wish to pick up some books on saltwater fish breeding.
