October Board of Directors Meeting

The October club meeting will be a Board of Directors business meeting. Who's on the board of Directors you ask ? Anyone who is willing to go to a business meeting, discuss the future of the club, and plan how we can expand the reach and influence of our club. Hobbyists, current members, coral farmers, and retail concerns are invited to participate.

Location and time is to be determined based upon feedback received. I don't want to put anyone on the spot so please reply to me directly ( alukk at comcast.net ) if you're not comfortable posting either willingness to participate or recommendations for the future direction of our club.

There will be an agenda. Preliminary topics are changing the club name so Sarasota Fl is more prominent and we're easier to find, forging alliances with our LFSs (and possibly discounts), creating our own website and discussion forum, supporting captive propagation and trading/selling locally, and getting meetings planned well enough in advance so people with unusual schedules can attend. I'd also like to have board members work on "special" meetings and projects.

Agu, are you creating a new email list or using the old one? I just think the old one needs PURGED, other then to get the message out that "if you do not respond, you will be PURGED"...
