Great stand! Did you have that made? I had a bowfront and never could find a good looking stand for it.
That looks like a quarter-round tank to me, but the front glass of a quarter-round is a bow so you have me on a technicality. I like the stand too. Most of the stands that come with these tanks, whichever they are, don't look as good as this one. It has really nice grain symmetry as does the hood. I notice one of Tony's interests is woodworking. Beautiful work.

Hey, if you lost your turkey baster, it's on the floor next to your tank.:D

nice tank, i can and will get 2 or 3 disposable rubber aprons for those of you cutting with saws.

I don't think anyone can do this job better than Mr. Kreeger. I nominate him to wear an apron, yellow gloves and goggles this year. I'll have a camera ready to get that perfect photo that will have a bubble over his head saying, MUHAHHAHHAAH!

I think that's going to be his Halloween costume as well.

I offered him $20 to fake taking a few fingers off in front of some of the kids and even offered to pay for the fake blood but he wouldn't go for it...

Hello, I have never been to a meeting before. I am going to be there this Friday. What time should I get there to sign up? What form of payment is accepted for the fees? Should I bring anything other than cooler and containers? Is there any sort of initiation or hazing involved? LOL. Sorry for all the questions if they were already covered.

Hey Deere, Welcome to the club. No initiation other than a dive in the shark tank in a fish suit.

I would try and get to the meeting about 15-20min early to allow time to sign up. I believe cash and check are accepted forms of payment. We are working on an electronic means but I am not 100% sure its up and runnning. Jen (Reefwidowed) can probably speak better to that.

As far what to bring. A cooler and some cash for the raffle are pretty much all you'll need.

Thanks for the response Serpentman. It will be nice to put some faces to all the names you see on here.

Glad you will be able to make it. This is a great meeting to attend but it will not be what to expect at a regular meeting. This one has a lot of stuff all crammed into a few hours. Normally we have a little bit of BS'ing followed by a speaker/demonstration/discussion followed by hanging out and more BS'ing. The night is wrapped up with a nice raffle at each meeting including one item that is a members only raffle.

The meetings start at 7:30 so I would try to get there by 7:15 to get signed up and paid before we get started.

Two more days :D
