October pictures of my 150gallon mixed/sps reef

Hello everyone here are some pictures of my 150gallon mixed sps reef. There is a little bit of everything in this tank but I think it adds to the diversity of the system. The tank has 3 vortech mp40w's and 1 tunze 6105 on a controller that i like better than the vortechs lol. Lighting on the system is a 8x54 watt ati powermodule and for filtration, the tank has a 50gallon sump with 2 micron filter socks with zeo rocks in a filter bag, carbon, phos reactor, and an euroreef rc180 protien skimmer. As for dosing the tank is dosed strontium, magnesium, calcium, and alkalinity via proflux dosing pumps. params of the system are

Very nice. What bulbs are using and in what order do you have them? Also have the 8 bulb PM and really like the color you have going on there.

Is that a gorg up high on the right? How long have you had it? It looks like it's in some heavy flow area. Nice tank!

yes that is a gorgonian. I have had that particular one for about 2 years, growing it from a small frag.

Love the dimensions of that tank (I have the exact same one!) How do your tangs deal with each other in there? I see five?

the tangs all get along fine. There is no fighting amongst them at all. Obviously they will have to be moved into a bigger tank one day but for now they are very happy, especially with all the flow in the tank.

Hey thanks. I went to them a long time ago. They didn't seem to have much there when i went. Must be under new ownership. Will have to visit them. Those Vortech's cost a pretty penny. Three!!! I have one and that was enough money for me. Is that a custom tank size or can you get that dimension from anywhere. Just ordered a tank but alittle smaller than yours. 48x24x24. 120 gallon. I like the deep tanks. Hard to tell from pics but they are nice because you have so much space on the bottom. 30 inches wide you can really put quite a bit of stuff on the bottom. Your almost full!!
