Anyone ever see one of these before? It came into the store i work in as a octopus anemone. Cant seem to find any info on it, the clowns wont go near it and it seems to have a pretty powerful sting from touching it.
I have one, it pulls itself into the sand during the day and comes out when the main lights go off and the blue lights are on. It is extremely sticky (more than even a carpet) and nothing goes near it
Guess this thread died. Well for anyone else my LFS sells it for about $20. Very cool and I have not touched it (unlike other anemones) but a co-worker did and it left a few little water blisters. Will eat any fish that it can grab even clowns. It does like to hide under the sand and come out in dimmer lights or under shade, have even seen it moving under the sand before it popped out. Very cool guys. It likes the same conditions as a Condy or tube anemone. But warning again will try to eat any fish that comes near it or it can grab
