anyone have a external set up . i plan to use this skimmer in addition to mu current 225 g mixed reef

I have mine setup externally and like it. So far its been meshmodded with 4 layers of enkamat and I enlarged the venturi out and put in a 1/4" barbed hose fitting. If I skim wet I can get a gallon of skimmate in a few days. If I set it to dry then it can take about 8-9 days for a gallon.

Excuse the mess. Theres some salt creep since it tends to leak around the pump whenever the pump is turned off. I have no idea where the leak comes from even after placing teflon tape.

how did you do a mesh mod ? i live on copperhill
