What is the recommended sump water level for the SRO 2000 INT?

If you keep overflowing, you're too deep. 5.75" - 6" should be right on the money.

Is this recommended water level the height for the water or the height that the skimmer should be sitting on? I'm have a hard time with this skimmer. I have a large sump and therefore the water height is 9" but I have the skimmer on a 5" platform.

should be on a 3" platrorm. then would be in 6" of water.

The skimmer should be submerged in 6" of water depth.

Ok, I will ditch the platform and just lower the level to 6"

I'm gussing the water outlet should be above the water line? My skimmer came with reccomended min and max water lines on it which are MUCH higer than 5-6". I can't understand how with the outlet submerged the skimmer WONT overflow.
