Odd couples -- pairing different species possible?

I've read about unusual pairings here and there, I'm just hoping to get some opinions from those who have tried to pair different species (whether or not it was successful). I have a female (2-2.5") ocellaris and I'd like to get her a male. I'd be fine getting an ocellaris for her to pair with, but it would be fun to try something else if it's possible. I read somewhere about a maroon/ocellaris pair, that would be amazing but I can't imagine it's really an option.

If you've got or have seen a pair consisting of two different species, could you tell me what species they were and which was male/female?

I think this would be the best way to sum it all up:

As far as we know ANY and ALL species of clownfish can mate and produce offspring. HOWEVER, we do not know which of the crossings will produce infertile offspring (my feeling is all clown crosses will produce fertile babies...JMO) To my knowledge we can only confirm that Leuckranos and "Percularis" produce fertile offspring. As far as I know the only limiting factor to crossing clownfish is interspecific behavioral differences....if these can be overcome than "any" clowns theoretically caould hybridize...

A list of "know hybrids" to my knowledge:

P.Biaculeatus x A.Ocellaris(black variant ocellaris x maroon="cocoa")
A. Ocellaris x A. Percula= "Percularis"
A. Ocellaris x A. Frenatus
A. Frenatus x P. Biaculeatus
A. Chrystoperus x A. Sandaracinos= "caps" aka Leuckranos
A. Ocellaris x (skunk complex specie) = Thielli
A. Clarkii x many other clarkii complex, ex. Chrysopterus

This is the list of confirmed hybrids as I am aware of it. While I have heard rumors of other I can neither confirm nor deny them...

just to back this up more... i have an onyx and an ocellaris paired... not mating yet but paired (they are young... a little over a year for the ocellaris and about 8-9 months for the onyx)

I have a 6" A.Polymnus and a 2" A.leucokranos that were shacking up together until their anemone decided to become one with the sequence pump. Now they don't hang out so much anymore.
