odd or normal clown behavior?

I have a new Black Occellaris and LTA. For a week he has not gone near the LTA, tonight after the lights are out, I notice he is trying to swim under the LTA's foot! At first I thought he was stuck, but he swims out, and goes back in. Is this normal, or is he weird?

Isn't everything a clown does considered weird??? lol I'd say hes probably trying to host also
