Ode to the wives!

This is my brief "Ode to my Wife" thread. I just wanted to send her and all the other wives out there a gracious "thank you".

My wife, who has generously put up with my insanity for 12 years now, deserves a little recognition. Starting at a 55 gal, to a 125 and 29, to a 200, then to a 560 then a 800 gal build into the wall, down to a 60 cube (which broke), then to another 60 cube a month ago, and finally ending with a soon to be 126gal custom. She has put up with so many ups and downs in this hobby with me that I would have truly understood if she would have knocked me off, burned my ashes and fed them to my damn fish.

She has been so willing to compromise with me as well as extremely forgiving during those accidents that have driven many hobbyists away. So I wanted to once again say thank you, love you. You truly are a patient, understanding and loving person!

Thank you to my wife as well who let me put a 300 in her hardwood floor living room. It is noisy but she never complains. I get nothing but compliments on the tank from her and she will do anything required while I am traveling, including emptying an over productive skimmer waste collector! She is truly attached to the orange spot blenny she named "Fiji". Thank you honey, you are the best and I love you!

PS, I took her to the Great Barrier Reef for our honeymoon so ...............

my wife loves my tank as much as I do. Just don't ask her to touch the corals. She's allergic lol. Its not my tank its ours. She's the one who first wanted one!

It's amazing how supportive they can be with this hobby. Never complaining about the money, noise, heat given off by lights and chillers, and the electric bills. Too bad mine turned out to be a whore. Now I have to find another one. :D

A second income going toward the tank would be nice again. :lmao:
