office tank build

So a little while ago i got promoted at my job and now have a desk. Which can only mean one thing... Office tank!!!!! And luckily i had 90% of what i needed laying around the house.

Tank - is actually 12g fluval edge with the top cut off. i used to work next to a lfs and found it out back one day waiting to be thrown away, and all that was wrong was it had a crack on the lid. Which once removed became a perfect little 12g tall rimless.

filter - hob refugium with a 120gph return pump
powerhead - have a nano koralia ( still need to get another )
rock - about 10 lbs of live rock from established tank at home
sand - 5lbs of live sand
heater - still need to pick one up ( no need while cycling )
lighting - ordered a par38 led bulb with 12 3w white, and 6 3w blue lights

livestock - currently just a couple blue leg hermits to get things going. I plan to add either a randall's or yasha goby with shrimp partner, and maybe one other nano fish.

Also just made a little canopy to try and make things look a little nicer.

Nice. I would like to have an office tank but I would need a massive chiller and a tight lid cause my office is a van.

Yea, I really wish I would have done that before hand. Maybe I can just move it out a little and give it a coat.

go to the craft store & buy some Black poster board. I did the same thing on my 135.. Had a brain fart & didn't paint it. Taped some poster board up,, Looks 10 x's better. You would think it was painted.
