Official 2011 WTMRAC Frag Swap Announcement

Dig This!

I had to hi-jack this Thread:

I'm a member and will be attending the frag swap. Can't wait. Last year was my first frag swap to attend and it was awesome!!!

Richard

Awesome to Hear!!!!!!!

Oh... and BUMP!!!!!!

I'll have my normal fare (some of everything), but don;t generally cut too many acros unless someone specifically asks. They don't sell well around here and I have a hard time holding color in the frag tank (that's changing with LED's, but still prefer to let mothers grow, for now at least;)). Below is a link to some recent pics of the 280, with some individual shots of some of the corals. If anyone is interested in anything they see, let me know and I'll be sure to cut it. Lots of stuff you ma see a lot, but some less seen items, too.

Club BOD-if you see anything in particular you'd like a frag of for the raffles, let me know, too.

Below is a link to a good many of the things I generally always have frags of. This was posted for the Montgomery swap a month or so ago, but I have mother colonies for everything. Some of the large frags (like the 2-3" ORA valida's, etc.) have been traded off over the last month (finding my zoa fetish again), but I can make more;). They wouldn't be as well formed or as tall (mother is tabling), but I could still get some decent frags.

Will there be any NSW there? I may bring a 40B this time, but don't have 8 5 gallon jugs... Wish I had something with a similar footprint, but shorter for swaps...

Gary,

SW will be available for sale by MemFish at the Frag Swap, but I don't know that I'd call it "NSW", par se. (The mix is coming out of a bucket, but it'll be 'aged'.)

I need to begin getting a plan together for the refreshments. At some point Mako Id like to give you a call and discuss the funds available and the desired amount/types of foods :)

Thanks Marty. I'll get with Richard. Aged is gouda;). I'll see if I can find some buckets, too, to limit the amount needed (will be able to bring more from home if I can secure a few more).

You will be just across the street from one of the largest urban parks in America...Shelby Farms. It is five times the size of Central Park, but without the bad air!

Shelby Farms has walking/hiking/biking trails and a huge area for walking dogs (off lease and on). You can see a herd of Bison and rent bikes and ride down our newly opened greentrails, or get on the water in a petal boat rental.
