Has anyone put chaeto in one of the rear compartments? If so do I need an additional light? What's the benefit of doing this?

I haven't yet but considering it. I'm also toying with the idea of putting red mangroves in there instead. No worries about the macro spawning or pieces of it getting into the pump if you use Mangrove.

Regardless of which you use you need to give them seperate light. I've read that giving the chaeto 24x7 light helps prevent the spawning and other issues. Just what I've read, I still don't have experience to back it up.

Side note, I've added a couple more as well.

The ricordia is in the process of splitting. Cool to see. The GSP is now out fully as well, those pics are a couple days old.

Your FS looks like torch coral, pretty sure it is actually. Looks like you are right on the GSP.

Hey 426 - How do you like your RKL? Im thinking about getting one to program my light cycles. Can you program in sunrise/sunsets? How customizable is it in regards to the lighting controls?

Honestly, I'm starting to wish I'd gone with the Apex system. The RKL is very crude with how you program and the instructions. The Apex is more $ but you can program and manage it via built in web server right out of the box. The RKL is not intuitive at all. Or maybe I'm just retarded.

No. I have the PC4, RKL with iTemp probe and just got the SL1 in.

Ugh - one of my clowns jumped into the rear of the tank. Has ANYONE successfully gotten a fish out of the back chambers? Going on two hours now with no luck....

FINALLY got the clown back to the display side! Took over 3 hours of trying. Such a pain.

I emailed http://www.mediabaskets.com/ a few weeks back and they mentioned they were looking at making some baskets that would work with the Nuvo 38g's but it might take a few months. These media baskets would be much much better than the stock ones, so if anyone is interested I would fire them off an email and perhaps they would move faster on it? Just sayin..
