Official Nominations for CTARS BOD

Well, I'm not sure if I have ever met Kynan or not but he definitely talks one hell of a game here. Sounds to me like he would make a great president. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this all turns out. Good lick to everyone campaigning out there kissing hands and shaking babies, lol. I am looking forward to seeing how this all turns out.
 
I would rock a CTARS sticker on my cars and work truck!!!!Free advertising. Kynan would have my vote and Icy! I like the idea of having sign posted at sponsored stores , and organized meetings and a more Robust CMAC..etc

this so far is a no brainer here. i cant wait to see this club come back hard!!!

I would put a club sticker on my car if it was one that would go across the front or rear windshield. No stickers on the paint. I can't afford any more depreciation, lol
 
I agree but stick to blues greens or anytime that resembles water with maybe a touch of corals. Nothing too rainbow pride looking
 
Regardless of who takes on the leadership roles within the club one item that should be added to the agenda is an overhaul of the bylaws. The current document is poorly written and leaves too much open to interpretation. The lack of a concise, clear, and cohesive document has created too many issues in the last several years.

Yep web designer here with 13 yrs experience and willing to work gratis with club to get a new site up and running.

I have some great ideas to build a new site on a content management platform that makes for easy updates and automated solutions like membership enrollment, payment and site access as well as forums and Facebook like community elements.

Someone current BOD or post election if interested in chatting more pm me.

that is true, but it wouldn't be to bad if they were held to, and or followed. seems we lost touch. they dont seem to bad to me,just not up held.
the thing is i understand them(most dont). and i also understand that not to many follow them.
 
The current document was reviewed and modified by a UTC Lawyer back and approved by the membership in 2008. Many of the items added were to protect the club from being sued.

They were to be reviewed by the BoD in 2011.

Any changes made will need to be filed with The Secratary of the State.

Any changes made, you will have to be certain you follow the IRS rules for non-profits.

Examples please where the club isn't following the bylaws or the bylaws aren't being held up.

Todd...I think they club needs to find a good PR person who can work closely with the stores. Unfortunately no one seems to be able to commit the time it takes for this. Maybe the club can find a couple of people that could work different parts of CT to do this.

i think they are fine, thats kinda what i said prior. however wuz it overlooked in 2011? if not why?

ive been saying this for a long time, looks like a few are up for the challenge:) and all of you will have my support to do so, tried to help in the recent past, and will have it again:)

you sould be utilized for sure. its under used BC its under updated. check out other club forums...... last i checked the seriose clubs have there own. NJ club forum is sweet. club pics ,people involved, it would be very cool to have all these things. diablo243 it looks like there would be no reason to take you up on this. GL

I replied with some comments, hopefully they all make sense. I stopped attending meeting a while ago for numerous reasons, but mostly it was due to the day and time of the meetings as Sunday nights simply don't work for my schedule. Move meeting to Friday nights and I will be at every one of them:thumbsup:
