im planning on ordering from reeftopia somewhere between feb 26-march6 (depending what works for everyone).........at first i was planning on waiting to see if ebay would have another group buy like they had at the meeting last year.....but honestly, i cant wait til this summer, and my 55 kinda needs a good cleanup crew now :D

i already know that a few people want in on it....but anyone else is free to join with us as well.....please post all responses in here and not through PMs, to keep down with clutter in my inbox :D

gotcha chris

oh yea...im positive that free shipping will be met....and almost certain that we'll make the 10% off as well

oh yea, on another note....i will most likely upgrade some items to the "lot" prices ...example...if 4 people want a dozen turbo snails...we can upgrade to 100 turbo snails, and everyone can pay the difference and get twice as much .........i want to try to get the best deals for everyone

I'll take a porcelain crab. :) Maybe more later, just depends on how cheap the snails get. :D

FWIW, I think last time I did my reeftopia order, once we met one of the lot prices, they gave us all snails at that price. So to explain a bit further as I think thats confusing  if someone orders a lot of 50 and someone orders 12, we all get it at the price of the 50. :)

At least thats how they did it last time.

Are the gorgonians at reeftopia long lasting? I'm a little gun shy since Dr. Shimek's presentation, but I think that was only a certain species that required so much food.

Hey John,

I'll let you know what I need later.....After getting the new puppy and the vet visits....I'm a bit drained....I hope his tummy feels better though after the vet visits......Spent around $900 on him so far in a week and a half.......

mike, i made sure to keep it to the end of the month cause i knew about your recent expenses with your new pup....hopefully thats enough time to help your wallet ...lol

brandon, got ya down....im sure you'll be ordering more...lol...their prices are so awesome its hard to resist...lol....oh yea, hows that blue zoanthid you got from the last order?....are they nicer under the new t5s...good growth?

Oh yeah... I'll probably add a few more onto the order... just waiting to see how things go. :)

The blue zoos are... existing. ;) They're really purple in my tank (not sure if thats something of mine or what...) and have not grown any (but I think the coraline may be a hard substrate for them to grow on... I'm thinking about putting them on a plug and see if that helps) and I've lost two polyps... one on the colony died and the other came loose from the rock I glued it to... go figure! Really, I may also need to try putting them in some shade to see what happens...

Ultimately, they're ok. Probably worth $18, but only if you want them. They're not Tubs or anything. At least not the ones I got. :)

Brandon

EDIT: If anyone wants to split some golden astreas, specifically 3 ways perhaps, I'd be more than happy to do that. The Golden's are a HUGE bargain. They're exactly like all other astrea, just no coraline growing on them. :) 3 ways means about 33 snails for $12 or so. :)

I'll split some golden astreas $12 for 33 snails is worth it.....I am in need to restock my snails anyway in my 55 since I killed them off when I did the magnesium dosing before to rid bryopsis.....The only bad algae left is hair algae in that tank.....Just give me some time to replenish my wallet a bit after the big spending on the pup...He ate his meds tonight at least.....Otherwise I wasted money again getting them, vet meds very expensive......:rolleye1:

Cool deal, Mike...

FWIW John, it would definitely be better for me after the 1st of the month. Not a huge deal as I probably won't be ordering a ton of stuff, but just FWIW. :)

Brandon

that'll work brandon...i was wanting it in somewhere around springbreak week....cause i'll be free to pick it up

Crap... I'll be out of town during Spring Break... until Friday, anyway...

But, snails and a crab should be fine. :) Its the shrimp that get me nervous...

But no worries... we'll work something out... :)

Brandon

Brandon, I would say the red and yellow gorgonan wouldn't live. I am pretty sure the others are all photosynthetic. If so they do fine in pretty strong lighting too.

Hey Angela.....I see they have flower anemones. FYI

Are flower anemones safe for all reef tanks? Are they much of any threat to small fish or shrimp?

According to Angela, they grow really well.

Though, PM her before you buy them.
