If you look closely in the last two pictures, you can see a fully developed baby polyp behing the left side full adults. It is a lighter color than the stalk up front, but it is a definitive polyp. Bought four polyps maybe three weeks to a month ago, now have 9 and counting...

I have no clue...I've heard some grow fast and some grow slow. I'm by no means a master of anything. These are growing faster than any of my other corals. It's really pretty crazy. You can see changes every day.

flasher you should go in on craig's order of more so we can cut down the cost of shipping and get some full headed polyps :)

I was just about to say, it's still a while off from fragging and besides, the price I would frag them for will be no less than his newest prices anyways.

$25-$30 per head is the cheapest you'll find...if I were to frag mine, it would be $30+ per head(since I spent over $140 on my original 4 polyps, more than his new cost).

I have a thread started about duncans...five different types(4 of the colonies look very similar)...look for a post(should be on this page or maybe the second page at farthest) about duncans...

Does anyone have info on these corals or does anyone know where to find some? I've so far come up empty handed.

ORA sells them to LFS's and if your LFS gets ORA clowns and fish, they can get these in the metallic green. liveaqauria is now aquaculturing those same type. This guy I'm getting these from has them. Info can be found by googling the genus(or genus/sp) or Duncanopsammia axifuga
