Oh man...i have pink sand

Wish I had 50 post so I could post some pics of my new system ...It's been running for about 2 months , and for the past few weeks my sand is getting pinker and pinker ...My wife loves it, but i really dont like it. I like the clean white look .Last week I flipped the sand till i seen white and now thats pink too ...is there anything i can do ...:hmm3: anyone have any advice?

i use ..ro water .... i had to turn flow down cause it was beating up my corals...think i should put back the other powerhead ? the pink sand will never be white again?

30g sump ...mag 9 return and berlin red sea skimmer in sump with live algea and micron filters and carbon

cyano will die off...sand will be white again...what size tank? i have a 55g aggressive that had the cyano until i put a 3rd PH in, no clean up crew with aggressive.

sorry...powerhead. sorry. so...2 K3's and one K4 in a 55g. but no cleanup crew. what kind of flow do you have now?

i have a koraline thats over rated and 2 sweeping powerheads in there now ... i did take the other koraline out

so it was okay until you took the other one out? that's saying something...if you don't want to use the other one...try adjusting the flow of the others to get a crosscurrent.

no...the pink on the LR is coraline algae...if it's hard, if it's soft...then maybe...i still think flow is your problem...yeah, wish i could see a pic...
